A Kalocsai Fegyház és Börtönben működő varrodában fogvatartottak készítik a rendvédelmi szervek egyenruháját. A gyakorló ruházathoz több mint 163 ezer, míg a társasági ruházathoz több mint 41 ezer kilométernyi alapanyagot használtak fel 2018-ban.
Saint Adrian-day in the Prison Service
Family Day 2017
For the first time this year a national Family Day was organized by the Hungarian Prison Service. The event, organized on the Kopaszi-dam held many programs for the uniformed staff and their family members. After the greetings of Major General dr. Tamás Tóth, Director General, a uniformed presentation followed, then dance, a dragon boat race and the demonstration of service dogs entertained the audience. On the event, fellow law enforcement agencies represented themselves: the band of the Riot Police ensured the good mood, a fire demonstration followed by the National Directorate of the Disaster Management and those interested could inspect the armoured vehicle of the Counter-Terrorism Centre as well as vehicles of the fire service and police. The closing good mood of St. Adrian-day was ensured by the awesome concert of Ferenc Molnár “Caramel”
St. Adrian-day Feast
On 7 September 2017, the day of the Hungarian Prison Service a formal staff meeting was held in the Venyige street unit of the Budapest Remand Prison. The celebration was organized for the 22nd time in order to honour the feast day of St. Adrian. The event was attended by fellow law enforcement agencies and cooperating organizations. During the event, Major General János Schmehl, Deputy Director General for Security and Incarceration greeted the uniformed staff there present and held the formal speech and after that, Major General dr. Tamás Tóth, Director General conferred the commendations and awards.
