Prices and Recognitions
The museum received many accolades during its existence. At the 2011 Museum Picnic the Exhibition of the Hungarian Prison Service Museum received the prize for best collection in the exhibiton tent. On the Museum of the Year 2007 and 2008 tenders the Hungarian Prison Service Museum at Sátoraljaújhely won the recognition of the jury.
